PEP AJIS (CACHUCHA)

Cachucha peppers, also known as aji dulce or “sweet pepper” in Spanish, are a type of chili pepper that is native to the Carribean. They are small and round, typically measuring about an inch in diameter. In terms of taste, cachuchas are mild and sweet with a hint of heat. Their heat comes in at between 1,000-5,000 units on the Scoville scale, making them one of the less spicy peppers.

They are often used to make hot sauces and other condiments, but are also a common ingredient in soups, stews, or other slow-cooked dishes.
