BAMBOO STRIPS

These strips are cut from bamboo shoots, which are the younger version of bamboo canes harvested when they are 1-2 weeks old. Their tender inner core cannot be eaten raw, but once boiled or steamed they are utilized in various Asian cuisines. Similar in taste to baby corn and can be stir fried, roasted, grilled, marinated or pickled!
