Avocadoes are known as a superfood; they contain large amounts of healthy fats and nearly 20 different vitamins and minerals. With a butter-like consistency and rich nutty flavor, they are most commonly found in Mexican cuisine as Guacamole. They can also be eaten fresh on sandwiches, salads, or blended up into smoothies.
