ASPARAGUS PENCIL

This variety of asparagus is harvested young specifically for its thin and tender spears. Compared to their more mature counterparts, the flavor is described as more delicate and grassier. Tender enough to be eaten raw, but also delicious when grilled, sauteed or steamed.
