TOMATILLO CS

Tomatillos have a gel like flesh that has a sweet and spicy flavor profile, with a hint of citrus undertones. Most often the tomatillo is cooked to bring out a wonderful flavor. If left uncooked, it has an acidic taste.

Substitute: Under ripe tomato with a squeeze of lime juice.
