THYME

Easy to grow and extremely versatile (it’s used in soaps, perfumes, and cosmetics as well as in food!), thyme has a subtle mint-like flavor and a pleasant dry smell. It is paired best with chicken, eggs, soups, and tomatoes. For storage keep fresh thyme in a loose, damp paper towel in a plastic bag, then place in your refrigerator.
