OREGANO

Oregano is an interesting herb because it is often more flavorful when dried as opposed to fresh, which differs from many others. It has a pungent, slightly bitter taste that works well with Italian cuisine (it used to be called the “pizza herb”!). As its nickname suggests, it goes great on pizza and tomato sauces, as well as poultry and seafood.
