STINGING NETTLES
| 01299 | STINGING NETTLES LB | 1# |
Stinging nettle leaves have toothed and tapered ends and their leaves are oval in shape, closely resembling the mint leaf. Though listed as part of the herb family, nettles are often cooked down and used in place of spinach.
Gloves are recommended while handling these little leaves, as both the leaf and stem are covered with stiff hairs containing a stinging fluid to any exposed flesh. However, once cooked they lose their sting!
